Alpha gaming laptops by MSI has built a loyal fan base in a very short time, thanks to their affordable prices. Right now, they are amongst the most economical gaming laptops that offer the best value for money. And now MSI has decided to upgrade its gaming line with a new processor series.
The news on the web is that MSI is expanding its budget-oriented Alpha gaming line to attract a wider range of audience. Not only it is introducing a 17-inch variant but also updating its gaming range with AMD’s Ryzen 4000-H Renoir APUs.
According to the source, the new upgraded gaming laptop line will include the 17-inch variants, while the hardware on these Alpha Gaming laptops will only include all-AMD specs.
What more do we know?
So far, we know that MSI is going to upgrade and release Alpha 15 A4DE/A4DEK as well as Alpha17 A4DE/A4DEK gaming laptops. Both models will be armed with AMD APU: the Ryzen 7-4800H with some serious firepower on them.
MSI is planning to put together NVMe SSD storage (up to 4TB) via two M.2 slots with DDR4-3200 memory that could exceed up to 64GB. Moreover, the company is also updating its mid-range gaming model (having the Radeon RX 5600M graphics card) with GDDR6 6GB VRAM.
Additionally, MSI is going to redesign the Cooler Boost 5 cooling system for maximum airflow. For better cooling and smooth gaming experience, the company is going to integrate 7 heat pipes. Another major improvement is 2-Watt stereo Giant Speakers that is going to be five times bigger, thanks to Nahimic 3 Audio Enhance codec.
