Design & Build
Oppo Find X2 lite is one of the smallest 5G smartphones that you will find on the market. This is a lightweight device that weighs around 180g with dimensions (HWT) of 160 x 74.3 x 7.96 mm. The brand is offering it in two different hues in UK. You can buy it in either Pearl White shade or Moonlight Black.
This is a relatively slim smartphone that you can easily handle in your palm. The right edge features the power button while the volume keys are on its left side. Also, there is a 3.5mm audio jack along with a USB-C connector. The good thing is that Oppo has covered its aluminium frame with a glass cover.
Display Evaluation
The Find X2 Lite features an AMOLED 6.4-inch screen, smaller than other variants of this model. Nevertheless, this is a high-resolution panel that offers 2400 x 1080p with 408ppi. The phone is a bit longer and has an aspect ratio of 20:9. On the top middle, there is a small teardrop notch for the selfie camera.
Find X2 Lite Camera Setup
The camera setup is one of the bright features of Oppo Find X2 Lite. Its front camera is a 32MP lens (f/2.0) which we found outstanding. During our Oppo Find X2 Lite review, we captured a few portraits and took selfies. It astonished us with its pixel quality, colour capturing, and background blurring feature. While the portrait mode delivered social media-worthy images with a captivating ‘bokeh’ effect.
On the rear side, the phone features a quad-cam setup. The main sensor is 48MP with f/1.7 while the ultrawide camera is 8MP (f/2.2). The other two cameras are 2MP, one depth and the other is a mono sensor.
Rear cameras on Oppo Find X2 Lite Photography lovers are the real treat. You can shoot slow-mo videos and use it to seize the memories of your family gatherings. It can produce 1080p videos at 60fps and 4K resolution videos at 30fps. However, this is not a great camera system for night photography.
Hardware Selection
Find X2 Lite 5G comes equipped with the Snapdragon 765G SoC. It runs on Android 10 with 8 GB RAM while its storage capacity is 128 GB. The Adreno 620 integrated GPU is good for playing games in medium to high settings. Additionally, there is a 4000 mAh battery which means you will have a full-day capacity once it is fully charged.
Performance Review
Oppo has loaded the Lite variant of Find X2 with Snapdragon 765G, which is a mid-level chipset. This is an energy-efficient yet economical 5G-ready processor that fits well with other components. So, you can savour the 5G technology and enjoy fast-past gaming. However, there are some areas where Oppo Find X2 Lite lacks in terms of performance.
The bigger issue that we faced during our Oppo Find X2 Lite was overheating. The phone casing started to heat up while we were playing PUBG at high settings and were only 30 minutes into play. Another issue is the slow app opening as compared to the other two variants of this model.
