Those who are not familiar with IFA, this is an annual technology expo that takes place in Berlin. This is Europe’s own technology event and an answer to “CES: Consumer Technology Association.” From high-end PCs to sleek laptops and gaming range, brands display their latest products that they plan to offer in the coming 12 months.
The IFA 2020 lacked the audience factor, but it was packed by all the big technology companies. The event offered us a sneak preview and now we know what the new gadgets would be like and what consumers can expect from the tech firms. But not everyone is a winner when it comes to dazzling the consumer world with innovation, right?
So, here’s a little preview about the brand(s) that stood out this year among the competition.
IFA 2020: cut to the chase
In case you don’t know what IFA is or missed the when and what parts, here is a little throwback.
IFA 2020 Date: This year’s event took place from September 3-5 in the German capital, Berlin. However, the portions of the event were moved online to abide by social distance practices.
Which brands were on display? Almost all the major brands and companies took part in the event in some way or another. Of course, except for Apple, the iPhone manufacturer prefers to organize and stick its own events.
Which brand stood out?
Generally, IFA-PTIA awards include 19 different categories, and this year they went to 14 different tech companies. The names include Sony, CHiQ, TECNO, iRobot, De’Longhi, LG, PHILIPS, Electrolux, HONOR, BOE, Panasonic, Midea, SAMSUNG, and SIEMENS. The awards were distributed ingratitude of the ground-breaking products in terms of design, technology, and/or application.
Although all the winners showed impeccable products with unique design and immaculate performance, one brand stood out among all: HONOR.
HONOR, a sub-brand of Huawei took two awards and amazed us with its technological advancement. It secured the “High-performance Innovative Laptop Award” for “HONOR MagicBook Pro” and it received the second Gold Award for its “HONOR Watch GS Pro.”
