The XPS 13 comes with a size of 11.64 x 7.82 x 0.5 inches and weighs 2.6 lbs. while the XPS 15 measures 13.57 x 9 x 0.57 inches and carry a weight of 4.5 lbs. Both laptops are quite slim and lightweight given the power they pack inside, but the XPS 13 is the more ideal choice if portability is your first preference.

So, if you are a graphics enthusiast and want a richer in-gaming graphics experience, then XPS 15 is the way to go.

Both Dell laptops come with speedy SSD hard drives of 512GB drives which have given us a transfer speed of around 650 MBps, when we did a file transfer of 10 GB on both laptops. However, RAM capacity is again a differential component here between these two laptops. Dell XPS 13 comes with 8GB RAM, while Dell XPS 15 offers 16GB RAM. Both XPS 13 and XPS 15 offer a stellar battery life. Dell XPS 13’s 52W battery has given us a power backup of more than 12 hours during our endurance test. While XPS 15’s 86W battery lasted for 8 hours which is quite a decent power backup again, considering the 4K display of the Dell XPS 15. However, if you want a superb battery life, the Dell XPS 13 is the best that we have tested.
